History
Masterbind International Pty Ltd first opened in 1981 in an office in Berry St North Sydney, where Doug Fowler and Paul Cohen built a successful business around the growing need for better document presentation solutions for Australian business. There was a need to help the business community become more aware of the range of document presentation methods and materials available.
This first outlet in the heart of North Sydney Business district was immediately successful.The name “Masterbind” became symbolic with innovative document presentation ideas combined with advice and guidance on the selection and use of appropriate binding equipment for any situation. Because Masterbind had hands on expereince with the use of many types of equipment, they quickly oriented themselves around the brands and suppliers that could provide long life, reliable, value for money solutions.
One such supplier was Renz Germany. Over the years Masterbind built up a very strong relationship with Renz and became the exclusive importer and distributor for their equipment and supplies for Australia and New Zealand. On Doug Fowler’s retirement at the end of 2005, Renz acquired Masterbind International Pty. Ltd. and formed the new company Renz Masterbind Pty. Ltd. which started operations on 1st December 2005. The name was changed to Renz Australia in 2010.
Renz Australia now represent a range of quality equipment and supplies for binding, laminating, shredding and related paper handling machines for both the office and industrial user.
In the corporate market, many of Australia’s leading companies and government agencies use our products and services. We are official suppliers to both State and Federal Government contracts for paper shredders, binding, laminating and related equipment and supplies.
